MBSM

It's a snowy day here in the Boston area, and, if I could get outside, I'd be wandering, trying to get shots of the heavy, tired trees.

Instead, this is what I can see outside of my window.

But, it reminds me of a wishbone, and we could use all the good luck we can get around here, these days. (Nana is hopefully getting her feeding tube put in as I type... please cross fingers right now.)

I'm going to distract myself by wandering through all of your photos, so I'll thank you in advance for the distraction!

I love snow - it's just so calming and serene. Great shot. And my fingers (and toes!) are crossed for you that things go well...

My brother and his wife lived near boston while he was in seminary. Now they live in Savannah...I'm sure they miss the snow very much. I've NEVER lived near snow, so I find is wonderfully exotic. That's a beautiful picture. I'll gladly help you "snap" your wishbone...and give you the bigger half if I should get it.

we are into the browny days of winter right now...we need some lush waves of snow to cover it all up...this is beautiful.

It is like a wishbone -- make a wish!

I love this! The contrast of the delicate twig against the mounds of snow is really striking.
Sending good wishes your way!

Snow. I hear you guys were given a lot of notice this time, at least :) I wish my school got called off the day before! My thoughts are with your Nana--I hope she's comfortable right now. You have a virtual hug from me :)

Fabulous photo. Bit of a contrast to my corner of the world today. Damp but the sun is peeking out from behind big black clouds.

Looking for some distraction myself so thank you.

Best wishes to you and your family.
